Coconut Oil RBD 76
Refined, Bleached, and Deodorized (RBD) coconut oil is divided into three stages of purification— material preparation, extraction, and purification. We use alkali to treat the extracted crude oil. This removes the free fatty acids from the RBD coconut oil 76. We steam the extracted oil under a vacuum to remove flavors and odors and lastly, we use carbon to decolorize dark or yellow colors. Where does 76 come from? The 76 in the coconut oil refers to its melting point of 76 degrees Fahrenheit. You can cook with this oil and even add it to cosmetic applications.
